As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Information Technology Associate to join our team and support our technological infrastructure and operations. The IT Associate will play a key role in supporting the company systems and operation. Managing and maintaining day-to-day operation systems and software applications utilized by Makyee Real Estate Brokerage LLC. Reporting to the IT Manager, the Information Technology Associate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and functionality of our IT systems to support the company operations and strategic objectives. Position Overview: The Photography Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of images featured on our web platform, focusing on aspects such as composition, lighting, color accuracy, and overall visual quality. Will collaborate closely with the photography and graphic design teams to identify and address any issues or discrepancies that may affect the visual presentation and user experience. Key Responsibilities:1. Image Quality Assessment:
Present the user-interface visually so that information is easy to read, easy to understand and easy to find.
Review and evaluate photographs and visual content displayed on the web platform to ensure they meet the established quality standards and specifications.
Assess image composition, framing, focus, exposure, and other technical aspects to ensure visual consistency and professionalism.
Identify and address any imperfections, artifacts, or distortions that may detract from the overall quality and appeal of the images.
Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in visual design field.
2. Color Accuracy and Consistency:
Verify the color accuracy and consistency of images across different devices and screen resolutions, ensuring that colors are true to life and represent the intended visual aesthetic.
Calibrate monitors and color profiles as needed to maintain color fidelity and consistency in image rendering.
3. Graphic Design Integration:
Collaborate with the operational team and graphic designers to ensure seamless integration of images with graphic elements, typography, and branding elements on the web platform.
Work collaboratively with other designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes product managers in order to create simple, easy-to-use software.
Translate client business requirements, user needs, technical requirements into designs that are visually enticing, easy to use, and emotionally engaging.
Provide feedback and recommendations to the design team to enhance the overall visual coherence and aesthetic harmony of the platform.
4. Metadata and Tagging:
Ensure that images are properly tagged, categorized, and labeled with relevant metadata tooptimize searchability, organization, and user navigation on the web platform.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of image metadata, including titles, descriptions, keywords, and copyright information.
5. User Experience Optimization:
Analyze user feedback and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for improving the visual presentation and user experience of the web platform.
Collaborate with the content development team to implement enhancements, updates, and new features that enhance the overall quality and appeal of visual content.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of image quality assessments, issues, and resolutions, and communicatefindings to relevant stakeholders.
Generate regular reports and metrics to track image quality performance, identify trends, and measure progress towards quality improvement goals.
Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field. A minimum of (3) three years of professional experience in designing brand identities, grid systems, editorial layouts and applications for web, desktop and mobile. Proven experience in photography quality control, preferably in a web-based or e-commerce context. The ability to refine other people ideas and come up with new ones to create a highly designed visual experience. Strong knowledge of photography principles, techniques, and equipment, with experience in both studio and on-location photography. Proficiency in digital image editing software tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Capture One. Excellent eye for detail, composition, and visual aesthetics, with a keen sense of color, contrast, and lighting.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross- functional teams. Passion for photography, design, and visual storytelling, with a commitment to maintaining high-standards of image quality and excellence.
