Responsibilities:Quality Assurance Program Management:Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and policies specific to mattress manufacturing.Ensure that all raw materials, in-process products, and finished mattresses meet the required quality standards.Establish and enforce quality standards in accordance with industry regulations and customer expectations.Inspection and Testing:Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, components, and finished products.Use specialized equipment and techniques to evaluate product quality, such as compression testing, durability assessments, and material integrity tests.Conduct regular audits and inspections of production lines to identify and address potential quality issues.Process Improvement:Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement in product quality.Collaborate with the production team to implement changes that enhance product consistency and reduce defects.Lead initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency without compromising product quality.Team Leadership and Training:Supervise and mentor a team of quality control inspectors and technicians.Provide training on quality standards, testing procedures, and new equipment or technology.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness throughout the organization.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions.Prepare and present reports on quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives to senior management.Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.Customer and Supplier Relations:Work closely with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality specifications.Address customer complaints and quality-related issues in a timely manner.Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to resolve quality problems and prevent recurrence.Compliance and Safety:Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.Monitor and enforce adherence to industry standards such as ISO, ASTM, and other relevant certifications.Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential quality-related risks.Required Skills:Education: Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Industrial Management, or a related field.Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in quality control/assurance, preferably in the mattress or furniture manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).Proficiency in using quality testing equipment and software.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities.Certifications: Quality Management certifications (e.g., CQE, CQM, Six Sigma) are a plus.
