About the Role: We are seeking a meticulous Quality Control Officer with a strong printing Knowledge to join our team. You will be responsible for upholding the highest standards throughout the offset printing and publishing process, ensuring all printed materials meet our rigorous quality specifications. This role plays a critical part in maintaining client satisfaction and our reputation for excellence. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of press proofs, digital proofs, and final printed materials, leveraging your knowledge of printing technology.
- Identify and document any printing defects, including misprints, ink inconsistencies, color variations, or binding errors.
- Collaborate effectively with press operators, prepress technicians, and designers to pinpoint and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Utilize your expertise in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel) to meticulously prepare clear and concise quality control documentation, including inspection reports and corrective actions taken.
- Maintain a deep understanding of relevant industry standards, particularly ISO standards, FSC CoC (Forest Stewardship Council Chain of Custody), and PEFC CoC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Chain of Custody) (advantageous).
- Calibrate and maintain quality control equipment as needed.
- May be involved in creating and revising quality control procedures.
- Diploma in Printing Technology (required). Or B.E / B.Tech Printing Technology
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a printing or quality control environment (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of offset printing processes, prepress, and press operations.
- Excellent visual acuity and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in identifying and documenting printing defects accurately.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel) for creating detailed reports and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve quality goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of ISO standards (advantageous).
- Understanding of FSC CoC and PEFC CoC (advantageous).
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

- Diploma in Printing Technology/ B.E or Btech Printing Tech (Required)
