Role Overview
The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee quality control across all departments, ensuring that products meet YesAgain's high standards at every stage of the refurbishment process. This role is essential to maintaining consistency, minimizing defects, and ensuring that all products meet customer expectations and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will implement and monitor quality assurance systems, provide guidance to teams, and drive continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Quality Oversight Across Departments:
• Oversee quality checks at each stage of the refurbishment process, including technical repairs, cosmetic repairs, screen repairs, painting, and final QC.
• Ensure that all products meet YesAgain's quality standards before moving to the next department and before final dispatch.
• Standardization of Processes:
• Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality checks across all departments.
• Ensure a unified grading system is consistently applied throughout the process.
• Monitoring and Reporting:
• Monitor key quality metrics, including defect rates, rework rates, and customer returns.
• Prepare regular reports on quality performance and present findings to the Operations Manager, CEO, and COO.
• Training and Development:
• Conduct training sessions for team members on quality standards, best practices, and SOPs.
• Provide ongoing support to department supervisors to enhance their understanding of quality requirements.
• Root Cause Analysis and Improvement:
• Investigate defects, customer complaints, and returns to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with department heads to implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring issues.
• Process Audits:
• Conduct regular audits of production workflows to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes to enhance quality.
• Compliance and Certification:
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Lead initiatives to obtain and maintain certifications that validate YesAgain's quality assurance practices.
• Customer Focus:
• Work closely with the customer support team to analyze feedback and implement quality improvements based on customer expectations and experiences.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in manufacturing, refurbishment, or electronics.
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to implement and maintain SOPs and quality systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and guide teams.
• Proficiency in quality management tools and reporting software.
• Knowledge of environmental and safety standards is a plus.
