Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing Critical Design Review (CDR) documents for projects.
• Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and procedures for Pre-Factory Acceptance Tests (Pre-FAT) of aircraft simulator devices.
• Conducting Pre-FAT inspections and tests to verify functionality, performance, and compliance with CDR specifications.
• Documenting and communicating snags or deviations identified during Pre-FAT to respective Project Managers (PMs) and stakeholders.
• Collaborating with Project Managers (PMs) to resolve snags and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented.
• Engaging proactively with clients during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), ensuring client requirements are understood and addressed.
• Ensuring all identified snags are effectively resolved before the delivery of simulator devices to clients.
• Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and preparing quality reports (e.g., 8D reports) for manufacturing or client-related issues.
• Initiating Engineering Change Requests (ECR) to propose and implement design improvements for parts or assembly processes.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in quality assurance processes and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements throughout the quality assurance process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing engineering within the aerospace or manufacturing industries.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), prepare quality reports (e.g., 8D reports), and initiate Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Quality certifications (e.g., Six Sigma certified) would be advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
