Our product range includes glass lamination, PVD coating, ceramic and UV printing, cast glass, etched glass, mesh-laminated and fabric-laminated glass, smart glass, shower doors, mirrors, internal glass wall cladding, and glass partitions.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to oversee and maintain product quality standards throughout the production process. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards, managing quality documentation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control & Inspection:

• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished glass products to ensure they meet company and industry quality standards.
• Use appropriate testing techniques and tools such as visual inspections, measurements, and strength testing to evaluate product quality.
• Verify that glass products comply with technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

2. Process Monitoring & Improvement:

• Monitor the entire manufacturing process to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
• Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with production teams to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
• Recommend process adjustments based on performance data and inspection results.

3. Compliance with Industry Standards:

• Ensure all products meet local, regional, and international quality standards and certifications.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, standards, and regulatory changes affecting glass manufacturing.

4. Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving:

• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality-related problems efficiently.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality reports.
• Prepare and present quality performance data, trend analyses, and improvement plans to management.
• Manage key documents such as Material Submittals, Material Inspection Reports (MIR), and Work Inspection Reports (WIR).

6. Supplier Quality Management:

• Inspect incoming raw materials and components from suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to assess quality control procedures.
• Address supplier quality issues and follow up on corrective actions.

7. Health & Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all quality assurance activities align with health and safety regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety by adhering to company protocols and supporting a safe work environment.

8. Inspection & Test Plans (ITP):

• Develop and maintain Inspection and Test Plans for various production stages.
• Ensure that testing procedures align with project requirements and industry standards.

9. Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR):

• Issue NCRs for non-compliant products or processes.
• Lead investigations into NCR causes, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on resolution.

10. Operating Manuals & Technical Documentation:

• Prepare comprehensive operating manuals and product documentation.
• Ensure that all manuals are clear, accurate, and meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality assurance, preferably in the glass, metal, or construction industry.
• In-depth understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards.
• Proficiency in quality inspection tools and project management software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
• UAE driving license is preferred.
