Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and regulatory requirements including FAA, EASA, and other relevant authorities.
Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with QMS standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Prepare audit reports and follow up on corrective actions to address non-conformances.
Oversee the inspection and testing of materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Utilize various testing equipment and methodologies.
Manage documentation related to quality assurance, including quality manuals, procedures, inspection records, and audit reports. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and accessible.
Evaluate and monitor the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors. Conduct supplier audits and assessments, and work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance
Identify, document, and investigate non-conformances. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor\'s degree in Quality Assurance, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance roles, preferably in the aviation/aerospace industry.
In-depth knowledge of QMS standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and regulatory requirements including FAA, EASA, and other relevant authorities
Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
Proficiency in using inspection and testing equipment, as well as quality management software
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
