Budgeting and Forecasting:

Location: Dubai, UAE

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM with some flexibility

We are seeking a dedicated and intelligent Production Assistant to join our team at our warehouse in MARL, Loures. The ideal candidate will have some experience with food packaging, quality control, and a strong sense of teamwork. Proficiency with inventory software will be an advantage for your application

Cost Control Duties:

• Prepare and manage budgets for projects, departments, or the entire organization.
• Conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis to predict future financial trends and outcomes.

Cost Analysis:

• Analyze cost structures and identify areas where costs can be reduced without compromising quality.
• Monitor spending to ensure it stays within budget and identify discrepancies or inefficiencies.

Reporting:

• Generate regular financial reports and present findings to senior management.
• Provide detailed analysis on cost variances and recommend corrective actions.

Vendor Management:

• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure the best prices and terms.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.

Process Improvement:

• Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Use tools like Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to streamline processes.

Quality Control Duties:

Quality Assurance:

• Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures.
• Ensure that products or services meet established quality standards and customer expectations.

Inspection and Testing:

• Conduct regular inspections and tests of products or services.
• Analyze test data to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and adjust quality control practices accordingly.

Training and Development:

• Train staff on quality control processes and best practices.
• Promote a culture of quality within the organization through ongoing education and awareness programs.

Problem Resolution:

• Investigate and resolve quality issues or complaints from customers.
• Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.

Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive records of quality control tests, inspections, and outcomes.
• Prepare quality reports for management review and decision-making.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Industry Experience : Experience in cost control, quality assurance, project management, or a related field. Experience in food industry also preferred.
• Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met and costs are controlled.
• Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
• Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Project Management Skills : Proficiency in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Technical Skills : Familiarity with cost control software, quality management systems, and relevant industry tools and technologies.
• Leadership Experience : Prior experience in a supervisory or management role can be beneficial.
