Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in establishing the QHSE function and setting up all the procedures and processes required to manage the same.
Take the role of the management representative and be responsible for ensuring that the QHSE management system is implemented and maintained for the portfolio of buildings managed by DOAM in compliance to the relevant standards, and existing legal and other authority requirements.
Coordinate with all departments (both internal and external), clients, customers, and contractors for all matters related to the development and continual improvement of the QHSE management system.
Take the lead and assist in implementing an effective document control mechanism in order to facilitate proper handing over of hard and soft copies of all OA-related documentation as per RERA regulations.
Liaise on all matters related to HSE as necessary with Government agencies \xe2\x80\x93 Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, RTA, Police, etc. as and when required under the guidance of the reporting head.
Provide support in guiding departments in the development, and implementation of QHSE goals, targets, and management programs.
Advise employees and management on ways to minimize and eliminate workplace risks and complete risk assessments when needed or required.
Supervise and monitor incident/accident performance and collate statistics. Generate HSE statistics reports.
Participate in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment committees; attend external/internal H&S meetings, assist in preparing action plans on discussion points, and monitor implementation of the same.
Ensure regular QHSE inspections are carried out to monitor performance and ensure compliance to legislative needs and standard company procedures.
Coordinate with the Civil Defense on matters regarding internal/external fire management systems.
Assist OA on decisions related to health and safety and provide necessary advice to owners and board members if required.
Ensure periodic internal audits are conducted and records are maintained for the same.
To ensure the buildings being managed and the services provided are meeting the QHSE legislation requirements. Moreover, to carry out health and safety audits to ensure compliance by the service providers.
Advise IOA Board in terms of health and safety requirements and to conduct periodic risk assessments of the Owners Association.
Advise IOA Board in terms of Energy management requirements and to conduct periodic Energy Audit of the Owners Association.
