We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled QHSE Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within the UAE and hold a recognized Health and Safety Qualifications NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.

A QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring that an organization adheres to regulations and standards in these areas. Here's a detailed look at the key responsibilities for a QHSE Officer:
Quality Management
• Develop and Implement Policies: Create and enforce quality management policies and procedures to ensure products and services meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.
• Monitor Quality Performance: Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with quality standards. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection results, corrective actions, and audit reports.
• Training and Awareness: Provide training to employees on quality standards and best practices.
Health and Safety
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Safety Training: Conduct training programs on health and safety practices, emergency procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Environmental Management
• Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards, including waste management, pollution control, and resource conservation.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Develop and promote initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of organizational activities.
• Environmental Audits: Conduct audits to assess environmental performance and ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Reporting: Prepare reports on environmental performance, including incidents, compliance, and improvement initiatives.
General Responsibilities
• Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of QHSE policies and procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality, health, safety, and environmental aspects of the organization.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and other stakeholders to address QHSE concerns and ensure effective communication.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Ensure all QHSE-related documentation is maintained accurately and up-to-date.
• Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and ensure preparedness for potential emergencies.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a QHSE role, including familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
• A degree in a related field such as Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or Quality Management.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or equivalent can be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in relevant software and tools.
