Conduct detailed inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet established specifications and quality standards. Document and report quality issues and discrepancies, facilitating effective communication with production teams to drive corrective actions. Participate in audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal quality protocols. Develop and update Quality Control procedures and guidelines to continuously enhance testing methodologies and improve efficiency. Train and mentor production staff on quality standards and best practices to cultivate a culture of quality across the organization. Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends, helping to inform management decisions and strategic initiatives. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure the QC department remains competitive and compliant.

Desired Candidate Profile

A minimum of an Associate's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. At least 2 years of experience in a Quality Control role within a manufacturing or laboratory setting, demonstrating practical knowledge. Certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor are highly desirable to showcase expertise in quality management. Proficient in using statistical analysis software and quality control tools, including control charts and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions to improve quality processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing demands. Detail-oriented and methodical, with a strong commitment to accuracy and precision in all aspects of work. Physical ability to perform inspections and testing tasks, including the capacity to lift equipment and materials when necessary.
