QC Pipe Testing

Location: Orbit International Survey Services, LLC (ORBITISS), Sharjah, UAE

We are seeking a skilled QC Coordinator - Piping Testing with a strong technical background to organize, conduct, and oversee piping testing and flushing activities. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards while working with minimal supervision.

Jobs & Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute pressure testing, flushing, and chemical cleaning of piping systems.
• Prepare and submit test pack dossiers to QC/Client.
• Interpret isometric drawings, GAD, and P&ID.
• Ensure all piping systems are free of debris and obstructions.
• Comply with safety, quality, and environmental policies.
• Work under tight deadlines and multiple projects.
• Ensure timely completion of test pack documentation as per system priorities.
• Maintain efficient documentation with no major discrepancies or bottlenecks.
• Ensure proper hydrostatic/pneumatic testing of pipelines.
• Organize and support test and flushing activities.
• Plan and arrange materials, tools, manpower, method statements, and safety requirements.
• Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow and comply with information security and data protection measures.

Requirements:

• Engineering Graduate
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of piping tools and equipment.
• Experience interpreting isometric drawings, GAD, and P&ID.
• Comprehensive understanding of ship construction and trade relationships.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
