Job Title: Head of Quality Control (QC) - Flexible Packaging Industry Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team as the Head of Quality Control for our flexible packaging manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process. The Head of QC will play a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, meeting customer expectations, and driving continuous improvement in quality metrics. Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Lead and manage the Quality Control department, providing guidance and direction to a team of QC professionals. \xc2\xb7 Develop, implement, and oversee quality control processes and procedures to ensure the production of high-quality flexible packaging products. \xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications. \xc2\xb7 Stay updated on industry trends and changes in quality control standards, incorporating best practices into the company\'s quality management system. \xc2\xb7 Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in quality control procedures. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes that enhance overall product quality. \xc2\xb7 Work closely with suppliers to establish and maintain high-quality raw materials for the production process. \xc2\xb7 Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to quality standards. \xc2\xb7 Implement and oversee product inspections, testing, and sampling procedures to guarantee product conformance. \xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing program to identify defects and ensure product reliability. \xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities. \xc2\xb7 Generate regular reports on quality metrics, defect rates, and improvement initiatives for management review. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Polymer Engineering/Printing Technology (Related to Packaging Field) \xc2\xb7 10-15 years of experience in flexible packaging industry \xc2\xb7 Minimum 10 years of experience as QC manager in same industry \xc2\xb7 Proven Experience quality standard like ISO, BRCGS \xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of quality control processes, standards, and regulations. \xc2\xb7 Strong leadership and team management skills. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. \xc2\xb7 Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
