JOB OBJECTIVE: The role of QC includes overseeing and implementing quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality products or delivery of top-notch services. They collaborate with various departments to establish and maintain quality standards, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in quality control procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Establish inspection and testing protocols for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including inspection records and quality reports.
Prepare reports for management summarizing quality performance.
Train and educate employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
Conduct internal audits to assess adherence to quality policies.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Monitor customer feedback and address quality-related complaints.
Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
Stay updated on industry regulations and standards.
Ensure the organization\'s compliance with relevant quality and safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS,EXPERIENCE&SKILLS
Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, or related discipline).
Proven experience in quality control/assurance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of quality management systems and industry standards.
