Qc Inspector – Steel
Job Description
Responsibilities :
• Conduct quality inspections for structural steel fabrication and erection activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Review welding processes, procedures, and welder qualifications as per project requirements.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of fabricated and erected steel components.
• Conduct NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) such as UT, PT, and MT in coordination with certified inspectors.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and quality documentation.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations at the site.
• Coordinate with project teams and third-party inspectors for quality assurance.
Requirements :
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in steel fabrication and erection projects.
• Certification in welding inspection (e.g., CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent) is preferred.
• Familiarity with NDT methods and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare detailed reports.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
