Job Description

• Oversees the implementation of the curing method and sees to it that it is in accordance with project specifications.
• Conducts quality control inspection of the precast units before, during and after casting operation taking into accounts.
• - Mold dimensions and assembly.
• - Steel cage assembly.
• - Types, sizes and location of cast-in provisions, cutouts, openings and recesses.
• - Surface finish treatment.
• - Dimensional properties of cast units including cutouts and opening provisions.
• - Marking and coding of the elements.
• Oversees demolding and stripping of cast elements ensuring that the required lifting strength is met.
• Prepares and maintains QC reports and records for the approval of the QC Engineer.
• Inspects all precast units for delivery.
• Comply with HSE requirements communicated in HSE induction.
• Attend Group Safety Meeting, Toolbox meetings and be familiar with the HSE requirements to follow while performing any activities.
• Report unsafe acts and conditions to HSE dept. using Intelex or booklets provided to you.
• Do not carry out any task if you are not trained or authorized to do.
• Ensure your competent and skill-based certificates are valid and communicate with supervisor if getting expired.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

• o Minimum Secondary level of education or diploma or Equivalent certification in Civil field with experience.
• Function specific experience
• 3 Years as QC Inspector for Concrete Elements
• Industry related experience
• 3 Years Precast Industry Experience

Verbal communication/ Language skills

• Required: English
• Any other language is an asset
• Written communication skills

IT skills

• Microsoft Office
