Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Quality Control (QC) Engineer

to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have

3-5 years of UAE work experience

, be certified with

Level 2 NDT (Non-Destructive Testing)

, and possess substantial experience in

tank fabrication, installation, and inspection

. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent attention to detail to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspection & Testing:

Perform Level 2 NDT techniques (such as UT, RT, PT, MT, and VT) on tanks and related components to ensure adherence to standards. Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of tanks during fabrication and installation.

Quality Assurance:

Develop and implement quality control procedures, inspection checklists, and documentation. Verify compliance with applicable standards (API, ASME, etc.) and project specifications.

Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare and maintain inspection records, NDT reports, and quality documentation. Generate and present reports on quality performance, non-conformities, and corrective actions.

Coordination:

Liaise with clients, project managers, and third-party inspectors to ensure alignment on quality requirements. Coordinate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve quality issues.

Standards & Compliance:

Ensure all processes comply with UAE safety and regulatory standards. Implement and monitor quality management systems as per ISO standards.

Training & Support:

Provide training and guidance to the workforce on quality standards and NDT procedures. Support audits and client inspections as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Level 2 NDT Certification

(UT, RT, PT, MT, or equivalent).

3-5 years of UAE work experience

in QC roles, preferably in the oil & gas or manufacturing sector. Proven expertise in tank fabrication, installation, and inspection. Strong knowledge of international standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.). Excellent documentation and reporting skills. Proficient in MS Office and quality management software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
