Years in the Fabrication Industry making Process Equipment

With competency in computer software such as MS office, MS outlook is preferred

Key Results/ Accountabilities / Performance Measures

(helps to define purpose of job)

Responsible for managing a fabrication bay start from receipt of production drgs lot, preparation of monthly / weekly schedules based on the shop monthly plan, job distribution among down the level reports & workforce, streamlining raw materials & production work flow, organising the required resources, implementation of best fabrication practices for the improvement of safety, productivity & quality, coordination with all stock holders on day to day issues, progress reporting to meet the management objectives and project requirements.

Job Functions

Major functions includes:

Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products: Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical.

Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.

Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.

Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.

Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing products and tabulating data concerning materials, products, or process quality and reliability.

Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.

Special skills required

As the job nature has mostly the routine tasks, the challenge is to accomplish the tasks with at most perfection in all aspects consistently to enhance reliability factor.

He must have strong knowledge of Steel Fabrication QC procedures

Qualifications

MUST have knowledge and experience working with ASME and API Standard.

Shop Floor QC Experience is a MUS

Visual, Dimension, NDT, and Making Reports Experience is required.

Must have Excellent Knowledge of MS Office

Knowledge of compiling QC Dossier

ANST Level II for NDT Certification

Fabrication Process/Functions

1. Receiving Drawings

2. Inspecting Material

3. Checking the cutting of Material if it as per the dimensions mentioned on the drawings.

4. Check the LAYOUT and Fitup done by structure fabricator.

5. Check the welding if done as per client requirement.

6. Check the painting according to the specifications.

7. Check the finished good before dispatch and approve it to proceed for delivery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
