: QC Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Position Overview: As a QC (Quality Control) Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities related to our tower projects in Abu Dhabi adhere to quality standards and specifications. You will implement quality control processes, conduct inspections, and collaborate closely with project teams to achieve superior project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols specific to tower construction projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Review construction drawings and technical documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to requirements.
• Perform material inspections, testing, and approval processes in accordance with approved quality plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor construction activities to identify potential quality concerns and proactively resolve them.
• Document and maintain records of quality inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
• Provide guidance and training to construction teams on quality control requirements and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company quality policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare quality reports and metrics for management review.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Certification in Quality Control (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in quality control or assurance within the construction industry, preferably with exposure to tower construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards.
• Experience in conducting inspections, audits, and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
