Job Summary:

The QAQC Manager is responsible for managing the quality assurance and control processes during the fabrication of pressure vessels, storage tanks, transportation trailers, and tankers. This includes overseeing all aspects of product quality from raw material inspection to final product testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the QA/QC department, developing and implementing quality control procedures and inspection protocols.
• Oversee the inspection of raw materials, in-process fabrication activities, and final product testing to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Supervise and coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures, welding inspections, and pressure testing.
• Conduct supplier and subcontractor audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Interface with clients, third-party inspectors, and certification bodies to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Train and mentor the QA/QC team, and shop floor personnel on quality standards and procedures.
• Monitor and review production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure that continuous improvement initiatives are implemented.
• Manage QA/QC-related documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping in compliance with internal and external audits.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in QA/QC management, particularly in the fabrication of pressure vessels /storage tanks / transportation trailers and tankers.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent certification (preferred).
• NDT Level II/III certification (preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding procedures, and NDT methods.
• Strong understanding of industry standards such as ASME Section VIII, API 650, ISO 9001, and other relevant codes.
• Experience with pressure testing, welding inspections, and other quality assurance processes.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.

Pay: Up to AED9,000.00 per month
