Job Description

We are urgently hiring for a highly experienced QA/QC Manager for one of our projects in Dubai.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To manage day to day QA QC functions in all the areas of operation through a team of QC Engineers & QC Inspectors.
• To ensure project QA/QC programs meet contract and Company's ISO requirements.
• To ensure that inspections are approved by the Consultant for all activities
• To gain and maintain the confidence of the Company project client management in matters related to Company quality and customer satisfaction.
• To review tender documents and give input regarding QA/QC activities/requirements.
• To update regularly the quality issues to the Project Director
• Ensuring that QA/QC culture is visible across the entire project at all levels.
• Well Knowledge of BS and ASTM codes to encounter all scenarios.
• First and second party audits for Quality/Environmental/ Occupational Health & safety system.
• Conduct / Participate in a weekly on-site construction meeting with the assigned contractors and their subcontractors and discuss quality related issues
• Support the Execution team activities and report any non-conformances and follow up on the required corrective and preventative actions for closure.
• Well capable to prepare close-out report of the project.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 15 years of overall Quality Control Experience in which at least 5 to 6 years of work experience as QA/QC Manager for High-rise building projects viz., Mall, Mixed Use Development , Star hotels, etc.
• UAE Experience is mandatory.
• Knowledge in ISO 9001 Quality Management System
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Man Management / Leadership Skills
• Report & Technical Writing
• Should possess basic knowledge of UAE statutory requirements
