Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

QA/QC Engineer

with a strong background in

roads and infrastructure projects

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes, ensuring that all construction materials and activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and applicable regulations. The QA/QC Engineer will play a key role in maintaining high-quality outcomes throughout the project's execution phase.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality assurance procedures specific to roadworks, infrastructure services (stormwater, sewer, irrigation, water supply, etc.), and utility works. Review project specifications and drawings to ensure quality standards are integrated and upheld throughout the construction lifecycle. Inspect and verify the quality of materials (e.g., asphalt, aggregate, concrete, geotextile, sub-base, etc.) arriving at the site in compliance with technical specifications. Supervise and coordinate testing schedules for earthworks, compaction, pavement layers, and concrete/asphalt works in collaboration with third-party labs. Ensure all test results and reports are reviewed, approved, and documented systematically. Work with the

Procurement Department

to confirm that suppliers and subcontractors meet quality and compliance expectations before materials and services are approved. Perform internal audits on-site processes and coordinate with construction teams to rectify non-conformities. Ensure that quality assurance documentation (inspection requests, material submittals, MIRs, ITPs, NCRs, etc.) is properly maintained and updated. Conduct toolbox talks and awareness sessions with site personnel to reinforce quality standards. Report on quality KPIs and assist in preparing project-specific QA/QC documentation for client and consultant submissions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in QA/QC roles within

road and infrastructure

projects. Deep understanding of infrastructure standards, such as Dubai Municipality, RTA, or ADM guidelines. Familiarity with material testing standards (ASTM, BS, AASHTO). Proficient in quality control documentation and reporting procedures. Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

Primarily site-based role with periodic office coordination. Requires field inspections, material sampling, and coordination with consultants, labs, and subcontractors.

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
