QA/QC Engineer - Power Plant - Site RoleLocation:ILF-UAE Water & Energie (ILF-UEW), United Arab EmiratesAvailable:nowPosted:11-11-2024 : Provide consultancy services for ILF Abu Dhabi as QA/QC Engineer at KIII Simple Cycle Power Plant.Manage and oversee power plant QA/QC activities and supervise the EPCM Contractor\'s construction activities.Coordinate with the Client, Contractors, and ILF back office for the works under your responsibilities.Participate in required meetings and work under the Project Manager\'s direction at the site.Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on construction activities related to QA/QC scope.Set policies, strategies, and objectives for project completion and implementation.Maintain the corporate organization and Quality Management System for the project.Ensure EPCM Contractor\'s awareness and compliance with quality requirements.Direct the activities of the quality team and attend audits, inspections, and third-party inspections.Review, comment, and approve QA/QC related documents from subcontractors and monitor compliance.Application Requirements: Knowledge in ISO 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 10005, ISO 14001.Familiarity with NDE, piping specifications, pressure class, and material quality.Proficiency in MS Office and relevant design software packages.Good verbal and written communication, report writing, and presentation skills.Familiarity with international codes and standards, company, and client standards.Safety awareness and attention to detail.15+ years of relevant professional experience as a QA/QC Engineer.Previous experience in contracts associated with EPCM projects in power plants.Brownfield power plant construction experience.At least 5 years of consultancy experience.GCC/UAE experience.Academic education to BS or equivalent level from an accredited university.English language proficiency is mandatory.Please send your application to: ILF Consulting Engineers - Abu Dhabi Mr. Own AlMohd Al Reem Island, Sky Tower, Unit 36-01, 36th Floor Abu Dhabi, PO Box 73250Phone: +971 (2) 6 50 - 0701 Fax: +971 (2) 6 58 - 6298eMail:
