Job Title : Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineer Job Summary :

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality management systems (QMS) to ensure that all materials, products, and processes comply with specified standards. The role requires thorough inspections, quality audits, and collaboration with project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects with the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Quality Planning and Management :
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management Plan (QMP) aligned with project specifications and organizational policies.
• Establish quality objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and benchmarks for quality compliance.
• Inspections and Testing :
• Conduct regular inspections of construction materials, processes, and products to verify compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Oversee material testing in laboratories and review test reports for conformance to standards.
• Monitor and evaluate subcontractors' and suppliers' performance on quality aspects.
• Documentation :
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation required for audits and certifications.
• Ensure the proper maintenance of QA/QC logs, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective/preventive action plans (CAPAs).
• Audits :
• Conduct internal quality audits to ensure the effective implementation of the QMS.
• Coordinate with external auditors for ISO certifications or client-specific audits.
• Non-Conformance Management :
• Identify and document non-conformance issues.
• Develop corrective action plans and verify the resolution of quality issues.
• Coordination and Communication :
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the point of contact for QA/QC-related matters, ensuring effective communication across teams.
• Training and Awareness :
• Conduct quality awareness training for site staff and subcontractors to promote adherence to QMS.
• Stay updated on industry standards and technological advancements to enhance quality practices.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience :
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a QA/QC role, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards or equivalent quality systems.
• Technical Skills :
• Proficiency in quality management tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ASTM, BS, ACI, or other relevant codes.
• Hands-on experience with inspection and testing equipment.
• Soft Skills :
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month
