Job Description

As a QA/QC Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our high-rise building projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and working closely with project teams to deliver superior results.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance/Quality Control: Implement and monitor QA/QC plans and procedures on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes.

Contractor Coordination: Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure all construction activities meet the required quality standards.

Inspection and Testing : Conduct regular inspections, tests, and audits of materials and construction processes to identify and address quality issues promptly.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality control processes. Prepare and submit detailed QA/QC reports to project management.

Problem Resolution: Identify, report, and resolve any non-conformances or quality issues in a timely manner to avoid project delays.

Compliance: Ensure that all work complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that QA/QC standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry, with a strong focus on high-rise building projects.

Contracting Experience: Proven experience working with contractors and subcontractors on large-scale construction projects.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ISO 9001, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, or equivalent are preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficient in quality management systems, construction inspection methods, and industry-specific software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with project stakeholders.

Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
