Key Duties and Responsibilities
A.QAQC SUBMISSIONS
1.Preparation and submission of Work Inspection request, Material Inspection, Material submittal, method statement, corresponding QA/QC logs and liaise with consultants for the approval of the submittals.
2.Ensure test certificates are attached to the material submittals and check the material quality before submitting the material submittal.
3.Ensure suppliers provide a warranty period in writing for the materials supplied by them along with their recommendations on how the materials should be used.
B.QAQC INSPECTIONS
1.Inspection of DLC and subcontractors work on site and present the report to the client for approval.
2.Rectify approved IR's with status B comments immediately the following day. They need to be raised again with the consultant to get it approved with status A with no comments.
3.Identify non-conformances and take preventive and corrective actions.
4.Performs QA/QC Checks, audits and reviews
5.Work with the Lab Coordinator to conduct tests as per the project specification.
6.Monitor the progress of work and report the status of completion of the official inspections such as accepted, rejected, postponed or cancelled to the respective project manager.
7.Inspect supplier's/subcontractors\' factories/workshops to check quality before the material is delivered to site as required.
8.All materials arriving on site should be checked prior to offloading.
9.Ensure materials are offloaded using the specific lifting tools while following the protection measure.
C.QAQC DOCUMENTATION / CLOSE-OUT
1.Carry out closing of the NCRs in conjunction with the site team. Provide training to foremen and labour on quality matters.
2.Training should be provided on how to do the work and care should be taken to avoid damage eg. Usage of concrete barriers.
3.Inspection of the Site Filing System and ensuring all QA documents are being used as per Company procedures.
4.Check and ensure that the Company Drawing Control System is being used as per the procedure
5.Maintain the necessary close-out documentations as per project requirements.
D.OTHER RELATED WORKS/PROCEDURES AS DIRECTED BY MANAGERS
1.Production and implementation of project specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) in line with project specifications.
2.Follow proper procedures based on the method statement and approved shop drawings in order to avoid rework which costs the company manpower, materials and project time.
3.Assist as necessary the Engineering department in the evaluation and correction of specific quality control problems and issues.
4.Ensure low skilled labour are trained by highly skilled labour.
5.Identify non-quality trends and advise project managers, site engineers, site supervisors for resolutions.
6.Verify the quality-related site activities are in accordance with client requirements.
7.Third-party activity on site should be closely monitored.
8.Perform all other duties as assigned by the QA/QC Manager and Project Manager.Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
1.Minimum 7 years\' experience in a similar role
2.Bachelor's Degree in (Horticulture /Agriculture/Irrigation/MEP/Civil) Engineering from a recognized University preferred
3.Extensive knowledge of Golf course and landscape projects is required
4.Good Communication skills both written and verbal (Preferably English)
5.Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
6.Adaptability and ability to work under pressure
7.Advanced Knowledge of MS-Office
