The role involves developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections and tests, and collaborating with various departments to resolve quality issues.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure products meet quality standards.
Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Analyze data from inspections and tests to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Review and update quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and quality plans.
Perform root cause analysis for quality-related issues and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including ISO, ASTM, and other relevant certifications.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality-related activities.
Provide training and support to staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
A bachelors degree in quality management, industrial engineering, mechanical
engineering, or in a related field.Certifications:
To enhance qualifications and job prospects in quality assurance, following certifications
are advantageous:
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE): offered by the American Society for Quality (ASQ)
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA): suitable in auditing quality systems and processes.
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt: for quality control and process
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
Lean Six Sigma Certification
Experience:
Five to Ten years practical experience in quality control, quality assurance, or related
roles within a manufacturing environment.
Prefer to the experience which is related to IECEx / ATEX factory audit.
Knowledge of QA Standards:
Familiarity with relevant quality assurance standards and methodologies, including
ISO/IEC80079-34:2018, IEC60079, ISO 9001.
Familiarity with Quality Management Software systems for managing and tracking
quality-related data and processes.
Soft Skills:
Communication skills to convey quality requirements and work with cross-functional
Problem-solving to identify and address quality issues is crucial.
Attention to details, ensuring product specifications are met requires a keen eye for

Computer Skills:
