Job Position: QA/QC Engineer

Job Location: Dubai Investment Park - 2, Dubai, UAE.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced QA/QC Engineer to ensure the quality of our fit-out and joinery projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of QA/QC processes. You will be responsible for implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all materials and work comply with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and protocols in line with industry standards and project requirements.
• Inspect raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and internal audits to assess and improve the effectiveness of QA/QC processes.
• Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, tests, and audits.
• Identify and document non-conformances, develop corrective and preventive actions, and ensure their implementation.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Train staff and workers on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and regulations.
• Address customer complaints and quality issues promptly and effectively.
• Promote continuous improvement in QA/QC processes and implement innovative solutions to enhance quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC in the fit-out and joinery industry.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
