The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for following up with the implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality System in line with good quality management principles.

• Key Duties and Responsibilities
• QAQC SUBMISSIONS
• Preparation and submission of Work Inspection request, Material Inspection, Material submittal, method statement, corresponding QA/QC logs and liaise with consultants for the approval of the submittals.
• Ensure test certificates are attached to the material submittals and check the material quality before submitting the material submittal.
• Ensure suppliers provide a warranty period in writing for the materials supplied by them along with their recommendations on how the materials should be used. QAQC INSPECTIONS
• Inspection of our teams and subcontractors work on site and present the report for approval.
• Rectify approved IR's with status B comments immediately the following day. They need to be raised again with the consultant to get it approved with status A with no comments.
• Identify non-conformances and take preventive and corrective actions. o Performs QA/QC Checks, audits and reviews o
• Work with the Lab Coordinator to conduct tests as per the project specification.
• Monitor the progress of work and report the status of completion of the official inspections such as accepted, rejected, postponed or cancelled to the respective project manager.
• Inspect supplier's/subcontractors factories/workshops to check quality before the material is delivered to site as required. o All materials arriving on site should be checked prior to offloading. o Ensure materials are offloaded using the specific lifting tools while following the protection measure. QAQC DOCUMENTATION / CLOSE-OUT o Carry out closing of the NCRs in conjunction with the site team. Provide training to foremen and labour on quality matters. o Training should be provided on how to do the work and care should be taken to avoid damage eg. Usage of concrete barriers. o Inspection of the Site Filing System and ensuring all QA documents are being used as per Company procedures. o Check and ensure that the Company Drawing Control System is being used as per the procedure o Maintain the necessary close-out documentations as per project requirements. OTHER RELATED WORKS/PROCEDURES AS DIRECTED BY MANAGERS o Production and implementation of project specific "Inspection and Test Plans (ITP)" in line with project specifications. o Follow proper procedures based on the method statement and approved shop drawings in order to avoid rework which costs the company manpower, materials and project time.
• Assist as necessary the Engineering department in the evaluation and correction of specific quality control problems and issues.
• Ensure low skilled labour are trained by highly skilled labour.
• Identify non-quality trends and advise project managers, site engineers, site supervisors for resolutions. o Verify the quality-related site activities are in accordance with client requirements.
• Third-party activity on site should be closely monitored.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the QA/QC Manager and Project Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role o Bachelor's Degree in (architectural /Civil) Engineering from a recognized University preferred
• Extensive knowledge of fitout works (partitions & ceiling) projects is required
• Good Communication skills both written and verbal (Preferably English)
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
• Adaptability and ability to work under pressure o Advanced Knowledge of MS-Office o Preferably Male candidates
• UAE Driving License preferred
• Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control processes on construction projects.
• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Perform regular inspections and audits to maintain quality control.
• Oversee testing and commissioning activities on-site.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, including test reports and inspection records.
• Collaborate with the project team to resolve quality issues and non-conformances.
• Provide training and support to site teams on quality standards and procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
