Job Title: QA/QC Engineer - MEP Construction

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Summary:

MAP Vision General Contracting LLC is seeking a meticulous and experienced QA/QC Engineer to oversee and manage quality assurance and control processes for our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all project deliverables meet the established standards and specifications while complying with UAE regulations and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, plans, and documentation for MEP projects.
• Monitor and inspect all MEP installation and construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Conduct regular audits and quality inspections, documenting non-conformities and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality-related issues and ensure continuous improvement.
• Review and approve MEP materials and equipment to ensure they meet project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during project execution.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all quality-related documentation, including test results, reports, and certifications.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors regarding quality requirements.
• Prepare and submit QA/QC reports to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in QA/QC for MEP construction, with a strong focus on large-scale building and infrastructure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, standards, and codes (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, DEWA, and ADDC regulations).
• Proficiency in quality management systems (ISO 9001 certification preferred).
• Excellent understanding of project specifications, drawings, and technical submittals.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• UAE experience and valid UAE driving license preferred.
