Job Title: QA/QC - EIT Engineer - ADNOC Approved

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Duration: Full Time

Site Based: Habshan

Working Hours: 10 Hours Including Lunch Break

Working Days: 6 Days per week

Role:

This position is responsible for monitoring E&I site quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) activities within his/her prevue and providing direction to contractor QA/QC personnel. He/she supports the development and implementation of effective QA/QC through processes, procedures, training, control measures, corrective and preventive action, assessment, documentation and audit, measurement and analysis, and continuous improvement. The QA QC Engineer Electrical and Instrumentation will assist in the field execution of the quality assurance and quality control program by ensuring quality issues/problems within Construction/Engineering are identified, reported and rectified; provide office support when required and not assigned to an offshore asset; plan, coordinate and report on the execution of QAQC plans within Inspection activities/findings for the Construction/Engineering Department; inspect, supervise and attest key hold ITP's points along with Subcontractors quality personnel on the field; coordinate with Subcontractors quality the correct implementation of Subcontractors Quality Programs.

Responsibilities:

Review of project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify and determine quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship and testing requirements related to E&I works. Performs verification inspection of work elements related to E&I works, to assure compliance with established procedures and Project's specified requirements. Validates the approval, distribution and revision of procedures, Process Plans and Work / Operations Procedures for the overall Construction activity. Liaises with the Construction/Engineering Department where necessary. Identifies and evaluates Quality-related incidents / problems / non-conformances and initiates, recommends, and provides effective solutions where necessary. Participates in on site receiving Inspection of E&I materials. Prepare, review of concrete specification, mix design and ITPs. E&I Testing Standards, Onshore & Offshore Construction (O&G) Inspections.

Required Skills:

Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized/reputed University. Minimum 8 yrs. of experience as E&I QC Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry (construction & source inspection) Fluency in English Previous experience working with ADNOC project. Computer literacy, proficient in computer skills including use of MS Office Experience in EPC industry Organized, committed and hard worker Strong interpersonal skills and a team player with high attention to details An analytical thinker A results driven person combined with problem solving techniques Report writing and communication skills
