Review business requirements (functional and technical specifications) to support the test plan creation process.
Document test plans in collaboration with the subject matter experts and technical teams
Create and execute detailed testing scenarios and test cases, including the collation of any necessary test data.
Raise and monitor software defects and ensure that the issues are tracked and resolved, within an appropriate timeframe.
Collaborate with the vendor to resolve issues reported
Report test case progress to the project team.
Ensure test case documentation is update to date
Carry out other similar or related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Technology, Science, Engineering or Finance.
Software Testing certifications (e.g. ISTQB)
Mandatory
5+ years of experience as a QA tester for software applications
5+ years of user application support across an investment applications portfolio.
Competent usage of MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Project etc.)
Significant experience with creating high quality documentation.
Experience of capturing and managing test cases in Azure Dev Ops, Jira or similar
