Job Summary : The duties of this role are to be responsible for the supervision and fulfillment of the Quality Assurance activities for the plant. Working along with the team, the QA Supervisor will also contribute to process improvements within the area as well as any QHSE initiatives.

Job responsibilities: Leading and developing the Quality Team and being proactive in ensuring Company Upstream Seamless Pipes is "ahead of the curve" in terms of quality capability. Providing support and regularly communicating with the Senior Management Team both formally and informally as required to ensure the highest level of operations is achieved and expectations are understood. Coordinating with production and other internal departments to define and resolve product quality problems and provide advice, guidance, and support on all aspects and matters concerning QA/QC activities to all Company Upstream Seamless Pipes personnel. Performing all duties in accordance with the relevant Quality Procedures to deliver and maintain the highest standards of quality for all products and services

Requirements:

Working experience with all inspection activities in the OCTG / drilling production plants. Need to have experience with the requirements of premium threading including surface treatments. More than 7 years of experience out of which at least 3 years in OCTG premium threading line with a University / College Degree in Engineering Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and API Q1 Standards Excellent communication (both written and oral), influencing and interpersonal skills Maintaining good working relationships and high professional conduct High level of computer proficiency - word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations In-depth knowledge of industry-relevant International Codes and Standards Lack of formal education will not stop if one has a minimum of 5 years' experience in the same field and demonstrates the ability to perform the tasks.
