The Role

This opportunity is with a Multinational company, a global leader specializing in advanced industrial products and services for the energy and mobility sectors into manufacturing of products in stainless steel and high-nickel alloy. In this position you would be responsible for the following: o Oversee and manage all quality assurance activities within the OCTG premium threading line, ensuring adherence to company standards and customer specifications. o Coordinate and conduct inspections and audits throughout the production process to verify compliance with ISO 9001 and API Q1 standards. o Develop and implement quality control procedures, including inspection plans, to optimize production efficiency and ensure product integrity. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). o Train and mentor quality assurance personnel on best practices, quality standards, and inspection techniques related to premium threading and surface treatments. o Monitor and analyze quality metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve departmental objectives. o Act as a liaison between production teams and customers regarding quality matters, ensuring timely resolution of quality-related inquiries or concerns. o Support new product development and introduction (NPDI) activities by providing quality input and participating in design reviews and qualification processes. o Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.



Requirements

To be successful you would ideally possess: o Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. o Minimum of 7 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years in OCTG premium threading operations. o Proficient understanding of ISO 9001 and API Q1 standards. o Strong knowledge of inspection techniques and quality control processes specific to OCTG or drilling production. o Experience with surface treatments and their impact on product quality. o Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. o Proven track record in driving continuous improvement and implementing quality management systems. o Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
