The Role

The company QA/QC Manager is the representative of the project and has the responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system. o The preparation of the companies QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions o Control and the distribution of all the company's quality documentation. o Monitor all quality related activities on the project. o Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company's management. o Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals. o Attend all pre-bid meetings and coordinate all project requirements with the project bidders. o Attend client quality management meetings. o The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement. o Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements. o Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports. o Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required. o Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC Plan o Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site QC manager & QC Supervisor o Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the customers representatives. o Monitor statistical method reporting. o Action and close all customer complaints o Control all achieve documentation upon the completion of the project. o Responsible for Preparing and Monitoring Project Quality KPI's. o Coordinate with quality inspections with all the site sub contractors and vendors coordinate all non destructive testing on site. o Coordinate with the customers representative on all quality matters. o Coordinate all receipt inspections. o Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors. o Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards. o Participate in the site internal and external site audits. o Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors o Ensure all quality control documentation is complied and competed for as-built hand over through the QC turnover engineer. o Control all nonconformance reports and undertake remedial action. o Compete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses. o Review the customers specification and undertake relevant training to the site QC inspector. o Complete and coordinate the approval of the sites QC technical submittals to the customer o Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues Coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects subcontractors QC personnel

Requirements

Engineering Degree or equivalent - Mechanical o Minimum 12 years and above' experience with recorded details & previous approval o CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector or equivalent as Minimum. o Familiar with ISO+9001-2015 requirements. o Familiar with codes ASME B 31.3, ASME B 31.1, ASME B 31.4, ASME Sec II , ASME Sec V , ASME Sec IX, ASME Sec VIII ,API 1104, AWS D1.1 etc o Familiar with GRE pipeline will be preferred. o Shall have experience in Piping & Pipeline quality inspections
