The Role

Lead QA/QC Engineer If you have 5 Years Plus Lead QA/QC Engineering experience in the UAE for a Marine Works Main Contractor then its worth you reviewing this exciting role based in Abu Dhabi. Tier 1 Main contractor with a strong pipeline of work 520 Million AED Construction Project based on Al Nourai Island just off Yas Island in Abu Dhabi Our client are a Major Marine & Civil Engineering Main Contractor seeking to appoint a Lead QA/QC Engineer to report into the QHSE & Systems Manager Our Client o 25 Years in business o International Management Team o Impressive track record delivering dredging , marine & heavy civil engineering projects in the Emirates o Strong financial reports o Impressive pipeline of working and negotiating various projects at sole source o If you have clear technical construction experience in a Quality Capacity handling the following types of work then out client will want to see your CV o Rock Works and shore protection o Groynes & Breakwater Development o Quay walls & Revetment o Dredging & reclamation o Marine Structures - berths, Jetties, terminals, offshore- piling & precast structures As the Lead Quality Control and Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS) on site. You will lead the quality team and ensure that all standards are hit in line with the contract. Driving the best practices on site across the quality team promoting an open collaborative approach Duties in the role consist of: o Quality Management System Implementation o Performance Monitoring o Reporting o Quality Control at All Phases o Material Requisition and Receiving o Training Development o KPI Development and Reporting o Auditing supply chain & sub-contractors



Requirements

Following is CRITICAL o Degree Educated - Civil Engineering o 15 Years Post Grad experience o Auditing Experience in the Middle East on Marine & Civil Projects in a Lead QAQC Engineer capacity o Tier 1 & 2 Main Contractor experience on relevant Marine projects o A solid career history that shows success and project completions o Based in the UAE able to attend face to face interviews Is this you ? o Self-Starter & results focused o Enjoying working with people and leading a team o Tenacious when needed o Possess strong communication skills both up and downstream o Happy working a 6 day week on site Benefits Provided o Lump sum AED Monthly figure up to 34,000 AED Per Month o Single Status o 30 Days Paid Annual Leave
