Automation QA Engineer (Ruby, Selenium)Remote | IndiaWe are looking for a QA Automation engineer for one of our clients.Essential Job Functions:Design and implement web automation frameworks using Ruby and Selenium.
Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts independently in Ruby.
Execute automation test suites (smoke and regression) in CI/CD pipeline. Identify and stabilize flaky tests.
Work with amazon AWS cloud services
Monitor UI automation in CI/CD pipeline and resolve pipeline failures.
Leverage SQL for database interactions.
Apply test pyramid principles to create comprehensive test scenarios.
Utilize Git from command line terminal. Create branch, Merge PR, Resolve git conflicts.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure test coverage.
Identify, report, and resolve defects from Test automation execution.Requirements:Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 2 years of relevant automation testing experience.
Strong proficiency in Ruby language,
Hands-on experience any testing framework like cucumber (BDD), or Rspec or capybara.
Strong hands-on experience on UI automation using Selenium with Ruby.
Must understand automation framework design and can enhance framework if required.
Must be comfortable working with US shift hours of 9 am 5 pm ET.
Must be comfortable working with own device.Preferred:Experience on Ruby programming and Selenium.
Understand latest trends in automation testing.
Knowledge of API and performance testing.
Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms and Circle CI pipelines.
Proficiency in Git commands.
Proficiency in SQL and Database interactions.
