We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Purchasing Staff to join our team and manage the procurement process for our operations in Sharjah. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and ordering goods and services while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Responsibilities:
Manage the complete purchase cycle for assigned goods and services, from identifying needs to receiving and verifying deliveries.
Research and procure materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices, ensuring quality meets company standards.
Obtain and compare quotes from multiple vendors, negotiate price, terms, and delivery schedules.
Issue purchase orders, track order status, and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and data in compliance with company policies.
Liaise with internal departments (e.g., accounting, operations) to ensure smooth purchasing processes.
Manage supplier relationships and build strong business partnerships.
Stay informed of market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications: *
Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
Strong knowledge of procurement principles, best practices, and relevant regulations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in using procurement software systems and MS Office suite.
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
