The Purchasing Officer is responsible for sourcing products essential for our company's retail operations. This role involves diligent local purchasing, maintaining records of regional suppliers, particularly those supplying on consignment, and providing support to the accounts department. Qualifications: 1. Proven experience in a purchasing role, preferably in a retail environment within the Middle East experience. 2. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop lasting professional relationships with suppliers. 3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 4. Competency with accounting software and spreadsheet programs. 5. Ability to multitask and adapt to fast-paced work environments. Additional Qualifications: 1. Diploma OR Degree in business administration, finance, supply chain management, or a related field. 2. At least 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within the retail industry in the Middle East. 3. Strong analytical skills to evaluate suppliers' offers and make informed purchasing decisions. 4. Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management. 5. A solid understanding of supply chain management concepts. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 7.
