Job Summary:
The Purchasing Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services needed by the organization. This role involves processing purchase orders, tracking inventory levels, and working with suppliers to meet immediate organizational requirements within budget and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and process purchase orders and requisitions.
• Communicate with suppliers to secure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and budget constraints.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years in a purchasing or procurement role.
• Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in purchasing software.
