National Finance Sole Proprietorship is a reputable financial services company seeking an experienced Purchase Officer to join our team. As a Purchase Officer, you will play a key role in managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Officer to manage the procurement process, from requisition to delivery. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:



Procurement Process Management

: Manage the procurement process, including requisition, quotation, purchase order, and delivery.

Supplier Management

: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing.

Negotiation and Contract Management

: Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.

Purchase Order Management

: Prepare, review, and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Inventory Management

: Monitor inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing stock outs.

Cost Control and Budgeting

: Analyze and control procurement costs, ensuring alignment with company budgets and objectives.

Compliance and Risk Management

: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, minimizing risk and ensuring ethical procurement practices.

Requirements:



Education

: Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Experience

: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing role.

Skills

: Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office and procurement software. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Certifications

: CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) certification or equivalent is an added advantage.
