Major Responsibilities:
• Develop a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives and construction project requirements.
• Set procurement targets and budgetary goals.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and update the department policies, works flow and procedures, and the forms used, software and formats used for proper smooth workflow to avoid any dely.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and contractors for building contracting/Construction materials and services.
• Negotiate contracts agreements and LPOs to secure favorable terms, prices, and conditions.
• Cultivate strong and long-term relationships with key vendors and establish a robust supplier and sub-contractor performance evaluation system.
• Implement cost optimization strategies, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
• Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking of standard unit rates to ensure competitive pricing.
• Create the commercial comparison sheet to determine the lowest unit rate of each item of BOQ to generate the competitive budgetary pricing as reference for negotiation with proposed vendor.
• Ensure suppliers comply with relevant regulations, standards, and ethical practices.
• Conduct audits and quality checks to maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Review, comment and approve all comparison sheets (technical and commercial wise , and LPO / Subcontracts agreements terms and conditions.
• Oversee the supply chain for construction materials, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.
• Identify potential procurement risks and develop risk mitigation plans to address supply chain disruption, material shortages, and other challenges.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering
5 years' experience with managerial position in building contracting/construction industry.
Supply Chain management, and product management
Able to manage the full procurement activities of residential villa projects.
Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a critical eye for accuracy.
Leadership skills and the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
