Job Description

Job Objective:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Procurement Manager to lead the procurement function for our beauty and cosmetics division. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the beauty industry, with established relationships with key cosmetics suppliers, and a proven track record in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships. The Procurement Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and products, while optimizing cost-efficiency and maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supplier Management :
• Establish, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in the cosmetics and beauty industry.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value while maintaining product quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, quality benchmarks, and ethical practices.
• Sourcing & Procurement :
• Lead sourcing efforts for new materials and products, ensuring alignment with market trends, brand needs, and customer demands.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers to diversify the supply base and mitigate risks.
• Work closely with the R&D, Marketing, and Product Development teams to align procurement strategies with product development timelines.
• Cost Management :
• Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising product quality or brand integrity.
• Analyze market trends and supplier pricing models to secure competitive pricing for raw materials and packaging.
• Prepare cost reports and budget forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.
• Inventory & Supply Chain Management :
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods to meet production schedules.
• Monitor lead times and proactively address any potential supply disruptions or shortages.
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and ensure product availability.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance :
• Ensure that all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations, certifications, and industry standards (e.g., FDA, EU regulations, GMP).
• Oversee quality checks and work with suppliers to resolve any quality issues or discrepancies in delivered products.
• Market Research & Trend Analysis :
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the beauty industry, including product innovations, packaging trends, and consumer demands.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and innovative products that can enhance the brand's portfolio.

Skills :

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations, including quality and safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• PURCHASING: 3 years (Required)
