We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Accountant to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the UAE and a strong understanding of procurement processes, accounting, and supplier management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the purchasing process, including supplier negotiations, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Ensure that all invoices and delivery notes are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the finance department to ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.
- Provide regular reports on purchasing activities and costs.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of purchasing/accounting experience in the UAE.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
