Job Summary: Looking for a Purchaser in Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on product quality, cost, reliability, as well as delivery capabilities
• Maintain and cultivate strong relationships with existing suppliers, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of order details
• Negotiate favorable pricing and terms with suppliers to maximize cost savings and value for the company
• Evaluate pricing trends, market conditions, as well as industry developments to make informed procurement decisions
• Monitor order status and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Make sure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, as well as ethical standards
• Continuously evaluate supplier performance and carry out periodic reviews to optimize procurement partnerships
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, as well as supplier information, and generate reports as required
• Resolve any issues related to discrepancies or delays in deliveries, and proactively communicate updates to relevant stakeholders
• Conduct any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• The applicant must have relevant qualifications with a minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment
