•Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production, and distribution capabilities.•

•Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to secure advantageous terms. Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.•

•Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand to ensure timely procurement.•

•Negotiate Quotation, prices, and terms of payment with suppliers.•

•Review and analyze Quotation terms, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.•

•Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.•

•Ensure that purchased products meet the required quality standards.•

•Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.•

•Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.•

•Monitor inventory levels and manage reordering processes.•

•Prepare reports on purchasing activities, including cost analyses and supplier performance metrics.•

•Work closely with other departments, such as logistics, Engineering, HR&Admin, vessel management and finance, to ensure seamless procurement processes.•

•Education: • •Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.•

•Proven experience as a Purchaser Officer or in a similar role.•

•Strong negotiation and communication skills.•

•Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.•

•Proficiency in procurement software ERP and Microsoft Office Suite•

•Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.•

•Professional certification in procurement•

•Knowledge of international trade and customs regulations•

•Experience: 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement role •
