Lambda Electronics is a Distributor and Reseller of Private Mobile Radio products and systems. Established in 1981 we serve customers in the Private and Public Sector in the UAE and MENA. Our main product brands include ICOM and Kenwood. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to order supplies and equipment in accordance with our companys needs. This will involve researching new vendors, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate order records, including dates, invoices, and discounts. Familiarity with supply chain procedures and the ability to create and interpret cost analyses are important for this role. Your goal will be to make cost-effective purchases while ensuring our inventory remains well-stocked. If you have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of procurement processes, we would like to meet you. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs \xc2\xb7 Track orders and ensure timely delivery and resolve shipping errors \xc2\xb7 Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts) \xc2\xb7 Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices \xc2\xb7 Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts \xc2\xb7 Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders \xc2\xb7 Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition \xc2\xb7 Maintaining Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA ) applications and files Requirements and skills \xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of purchasing functions, inventory and supply management systems \xc2\xb7 At least three years of experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to work with minimal supervision \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational skills, a good understanding of sourcing and the ability to maintain vendor relationships \xc2\xb7 Direct experience with ERP and spreadsheet computer applications and ability to use purchasing software \xc2\xb7 Advanced knowledge of MS Excel \xc2\xb7 Knowledgeable with TDRA applications of certificate for approval \xc2\xb7 BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
