Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Motorcycle Accessories Purchaser to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the motorcycle accessories market and be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing high-quality accessories to meet the needs of our customers. This role involves maintaining optimal inventory levels, developing strong supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about trends, new products, and competitor activities in the motorcycle accessories market.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality accessories.
- Negotiation: Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, avoid overstocking or stockouts, and coordinate with the inventory management team.
- Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in ordering and delivery.
- Quality Control: Assess and ensure the quality of received accessories, coordinating with the quality control team to address any issues or discrepancies.
- Cost Management: Manage budgets for accessory purchases, ensuring cost control and maximizing profitability.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze procurement reports, providing insights and recommendations to management for continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and inventory teams to understand demand and align purchasing strategies accordingly.
- Experience: Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the motorcycle or automotive industry not less than 2 years
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of motorcycle accessories, market trends, and supplier networks.
- Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess market trends, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technology: Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work under pressure.
- Passion for Motorcycles: Genuine enthusiasm and knowledge of motorcycles and riding accessories.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues proactively.
