Job Summary: Looking for a Purchaser in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Job Key Details:
Handle sourcing activities for the company
Monitor and supervise the acquisition of materials
Contribute to the negotiation of contractual agreements with suppliers to make sure services, quality, added value, lowest cost as well as security are attained
Generate appropriate reports and offer administrative support to the team
Draft purchase orders through verifying specifications as well as prices and obtaining recommendations from suppliers
Assist with bidding documents preparation
Make sure internal supplier relationships are maintained well
Create and promote relationships with diverse logistics and purchasing professional associations to obtain more knowledge
Job Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any related field
At least 3-5 years of experience in the purchasing field with good knowledge in fire alarm, fire safety and low current equipment
Outstanding knowledge in procurement including sourcing, pricing, contracts as well as relationship management
Good communication and negotiation skills
Should be able to handle sensitive and confidential information
Should be able to manage competing demands, take criticism as well as constructive feedback from the management and the team members
Good computer application knowledge
