Job Description

Job Title : Assistant Accountant

Location : Industrial Area, Sharjah

Job Type : Full-Time

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and process accounts payable transactions.
• Oversee inventory management , including stock monitoring and reconciliation with the storekeeper.
• Track and update asset records and manage the calculation of depreciation .
• Collaborate with the storekeeper to handle inventory stock and ensure accurate reporting.
• Assist in financial reporting related to inventory, assets, and payables.
• Perform regular inventory audits and maintain detailed records.
• Support the accounting department with ad hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in accounting with a focus on accounts payable and inventory management .
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Odoo).
• Strong knowledge of asset management and depreciation principles.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with storekeeping and other departments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have UAE Driving License is an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
